Oasis Partners in Ministry serves individuals, families, schools, churches, and communities throughout Ghana by responding to both spiritual and practical needs. Our work has grown over the years, but the purpose remains the same: to share the love of Christ through service that makes a meaningful difference in people's lives.

The needs of a community are rarely limited to one area. Access to clean water affects health and education. Educational opportunities can change the direction of a young person's life. Community outreach can provide support during difficult circumstances. Ministry can encourage people spiritually while strengthening churches, families, and leaders. For that reason, the work of Oasis has never been confined to a single type of program. We serve wherever our partnerships, resources, and opportunities allow us to make a meaningful difference.
Clean Water Projects
Bringing Safe Water Closer to Home
Access to clean water is one of the most practical ways Oasis has been able to serve communities in Ghana.
Through the support of our partners, Oasis has completed four clean-water wells that serve more than 6,000 people. Two wells were built for schools, another serves a town of more than 1,000 residents, and one was constructed in a remote village where families had previously relied on a small pond for both drinking and bathing.
These projects do more than provide water. They help improve everyday life for students, families, and entire communities while providing infrastructure that can continue serving people for years to come.
Education
Investing in Opportunity
Education has remained an important part of the work of Oasis because meeting an immediate need is only one part of helping people move forward.
Oasis has provided more than $15,000 in scholarships, helping students continue their education when financial circumstances might otherwise have stood in the way. Our educational outreach has also included providing school supplies to 450 students at Charity Amoa School and supporting 210 children at Twin City Special Needs School with groceries and other assistance.
Our largest educational investment has been the development of the Pretlow Lee Stevenson Jr. Learning & Leadership Academy, with more than $350,000 invested in its development. The Academy is already becoming a home for programs designed to create opportunities within the community, beginning with Precious BEEginnings, a Montessori-guided early childhood center serving children from 6 months through kindergarten, and Kingdom Kitchen, which brings together catering and culinary training. Through the Academy and other educational initiatives, Oasis continues working to create opportunities that can extend far beyond a single moment of assistance.
Community Outreach
Serving People Where They Are
Some needs require long-term projects. Others simply require someone willing to respond.
Throughout our years in Ghana, Oasis has worked alongside local leaders, churches, schools, ministries, and families to identify needs and provide practical support. That has included food and household necessities, school supplies, assistance with medical and housing needs, support for children and families, and outreach to underserved communities.
Our approach to outreach begins with listening. Rather than assuming every community needs the same thing, we work through relationships on the ground to understand where help is needed and how our resources can be used effectively.
Mission & Ministry
Sharing Christ Through Service
Ministry has been at the heart of Oasis since the beginning. Our practical work in Ghana has always existed alongside our commitment to sharing the Gospel of Jesus Christ.
Over the years, Oasis has participated in more than 20 mission trips to Ghana, bringing together partners from the United States and Ghana for ministry, outreach, community service, school visits, conferences, and other opportunities to serve.
Our ministry work has also included church and community outreach, prison ministry, children's ministry, support for local pastors and leaders, and conferences such as Faith for Freedom and God, Love, and Romance.
Whether the need is spiritual or practical, our goal is to serve people with compassion while pointing them toward the hope found in Christ.
The Work Continues
Clean water, education, community outreach, and ministry may look different in practice, but they are all expressions of the same mission. As Oasis continues to grow, we remain committed to working alongside our partners in Ghana, responding to needs as they arise and building opportunities that can make a lasting difference.
