Faith in Action
Our work brings together practical service and ministry to meet both spiritual and physical needs. Through clean water, education, community outreach, and mission and ministry, Oasis works alongside partners and local leaders to create opportunities and serve communities throughout Ghana.
Clean Water
Clean Water for Communities
Through the generous support of our partners, Oasis has built four clean water wells across Ghana that now provide safe drinking water to more than 6,000 Ghanaians. These projects include two wells serving local schools, one supplying clean water to a town of more than 1,000 residents, and another in a remote village where families once relied on a small pond for both drinking and bathing. Each well represents a lasting investment in the health, dignity, and future of the communities we serve.
Community Outreach
Supporting Students and Families
Through ongoing outreach efforts, Oasis has provided school supplies to all 450 students at Charity Amoa School and groceries and support for 210 children with intellectual and developmental disabilities at Twin City Special Needs School. Additional efforts have included scholarships, donated computers, educational resources, and continued support for local ministries and community programs throughout Takoradi.
These are just some of the ways Oasis continues to invest in students, families, and communities throughout Ghana.
Education
Investing in Education and the Future
Oasis continues to invest in the next generation through scholarships, educational support, and long-term community development. Over the years, more than $15,000 in scholarships has been awarded to help students continue their education and pursue new opportunities. Oasis has also invested more than $350,000 into the development of the Pretlow Lee Stevenson Learning and Leadership Academy, creating a lasting space for education, leadership, and community impact in Ghana.
Mission & Ministry
Faith-Based Outreach and Conferences
Oasis has hosted two major conferences in Takoradi, Ghana: the Faith for Freedom Conference in 2022 and the God, Love, and Romance Conference in 2023. Together, these events brought worship, biblical teaching, encouragement, and specialized ministry to hundreds of men, women, children, couples, and community leaders.
Outreach surrounding the conferences extended into the community through prison ministry reaching more than 500 prisoners, Christmas meals, Bibles and toiletries, health insurance assistance, donated computers, financial support, and partnerships with local churches and ministries.
